Our Mission is to provide valuable care services which will help our service users live dignified and independent lifestyles in the comfort and safety of their own homes. We hope to do so by carefully assessing your needs and selectively placing trained personnel to meet these needs.
We are bringing positive aspects of our culture to the UK’s multicultural population. In Africa ‘Umuzi’ is the name for ‘Village’. It is at the Village/Umuzi where the community gathers together, works together and support each other. The members of the village are guided by the principles and philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’.
Fundamental to the Ubuntu philosophy and ecosystem is the importance of the extended family required to be there and look out for each other especially at a time of need. Here in the UK where we are based, the Village/Umuzi is all of us; institutions, service providers, neighbours, the NHS, GP Services and local authorities. We are the Village. We are Umuzi. We are expected to work together and care for our vulnerable families.
We respect and value our service users, colleagues and partners, building trust and long-lasting collaborations.
We place our clients and service users at the centre of what we do. We strive to exceed our quality of service so that we can be your “go to” agency for your care needs.
We strive to leave things better than we found them, so that we constantly improve the way we operate as an organisation and make a positive impact and difference to our society.
We act fairly, ethically and honestly. We have the courage to always do the right thing and be accountable for our actions and decisions.
